Thomas Gostelow from Charnwood AC gained third place and a bronze medal in the British Road Mile Championships held at the Westminster Mile event in London on Sunday 26 May. In a combined U17/U20 race the Charnwood AC and Cardiff Metropolitan University athlete finished strongly to take third place in the U20 category with a time of 4:20 and a new personal best. This was Thomas’s third outing at the annual event and his first podium finish in a national event.
